Meet the team!

ExVac is run by a committed team of students who all work hard throughout the year to make the holidays a success. Please get in touch if you have any questions about any of our work, either directly through the committee or by emailing exvac@exeter.ox.ac.u

  • President - Enya Dunne

Hi, I’m Enya, a 3rd year CAMES student and this year’s President! I’ve been involved with ExVac since my first year and it’s truly the most rewarding part of my university experience; it’s such a privilege to be able to witness the positive change the holiday brings to the children throughout the week. I’m really excited for this role, which involves making sure all aspects of the charity are running smoothly in a practical and administrative sense, and helping ExVac to grow even more!

  • Chairperson - Daniyal Vemuri

Hi! I’m Daniyal, a 3rd-year studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics and this year’s Chairperson! I’ve been involved with ExVac since getting to university, and it’s been the most rewarding opportunity. From being a holiday leader in my first year to co-running a holiday in my second year, my experiences with ExVac have shown me how truly special the charity is and how truly valuable the holidays are. This year as Chairperson, I’ll be in charge of guiding the charity’s future, handling the newsletter and organising the Annual General Meeting. In particular, I want to create an ExVac Community bringing alumni, donors, college and other charities working in a similar space together, placing ExVac more closely into the local community that we are part of.

  • Treasurer - Subhan Aslam

Hi! I’m Subhan, a third-year studying History and English, and this year I am Treasurer for ExVac. I first joined the charity as a Holiday Leader before becoming a Holiday Organiser, and I am now excited to take on the responsibility of managing and safeguarding ExVac’s accounts. My main priority is to ensure the charity’s long-term stability so that it can continue doing what it does best, putting smiles on children’s faces with as little financial stress as possible.

  • VP Leaders - Ginny Denmead

Hi! I'm Ginny, a second-year English student and this year's VP Leaders. My role entails recruiting, developing, and supporting the next team of Holiday Leaders in addition to helping to run one of the 2026 holidays. Having been recruited as a Holiday Leader in my first-year, I'm so excited to build another diverse and enthusiastic team to ensure that both the children and leaders have the best experience possible on the upcoming holidays. It's a privilege to be part of such a long-standing Exeter tradition and I can't wait to get a new team involved!

  • Secretary - Aaminah Zahrah

Hi! I’m Aaminah, a 2nd-year History student, and secretary for ExVac this year! Last year, I was a Holiday Leader, and the highlight for me was watching the children form friendships that made the whole week truly special. This year, I’m really looking forward to being part of the organising team. My role involves helping to run committee meetings, looking after ExVac’s website and social media, arranging bucket-shaking fundraisers, and making sure all the practical details like insurance are in place so that our holidays run safely and smoothly!

  • VP Social Services - Zoe Hildred

Hi! I’m Zoe, a second-year History student and this year’s VP Social Services. As a Holiday Leader last year, I loved seeing the children grow in confidence throughout the week, so I’m really excited to now be involved in the process that makes these holidays possible. In my role, I’ll be liaising with social and school link workers, as well as the parents and carers of the children attending the holiday — making this a truly rewarding position. I’m also looking forward to strengthening ExVac’s links with the wider Oxford community by reaching out to local schools and organisations to help ExVac continue to flourish.

  • Holiday Organiser - Ruben Treslove

Hi, I’m Ruben, a 2nd-year History student and I'm one of ExVac's Holiday Organisers this year! The ExVac holiday was such a highlight of my first year and was incredibly valuable and rewarding. As HO I plan the holidays that the children will go on with my colleague Ophelia. This involves dealing with the logistics of food, transport, and accommodation but most importantly it's finding activities that will make the week the most fun possible. I also will be going on and leading one of the holidays which I'm so excited for!

  • Executive Holiday Organiser - Max Port

Hi! I’m Max, a third year History student and this year’s Executive Holiday Organiser. The role is a new one for 2025/26, and it focuses on finding a new permanent home for ExVac holidays from 2027 by researching, communicating with and visiting potential locations. ExVac has been one of the highlights of my time at uni, and I’m really looking forward to being involved again this year!

  • Holiday Organiser - Ophelia Robinson-Beesley

Hi! I’m Ophelia and I’m a second year studying Spanish and Linguistics. This year I’m a Holiday Organiser for ExVac which means I’ll be working with Ruben and Max to put together activities for the holiday and generally just organise the trip and all the details surrounding it so that the week runs smoothly. My favourite part of ExVac last year was getting to know the kids and seeing their confidence blossom as the week went on. It was awesome to see them become more sociable and see them all having fun during the holiday.

  • Internal Fundraiser - Tobi Sanyaolu

Hi! I’m Tobi, a second-year medical student and I’m one of Exvac’s two internal fundraisers alongside Nihal! Being involved with Exvac last year as a holiday leader was such an amazing experience and seeing how much fun the children got up to on the holiday encouraged me to be part of the team again this year. As an internal fundraiser, I’ll be facilitating and organising exciting events in and around college in support of this amazing. From auctions to quizzes, we hope to have events for everyone to enjoy!

  • External Fundraiser - Alina Turchyn

Hey! I'm Alina, a second year physics student. I got involved with Exvac in my first year as a holiday leader and it was such an incredible and meaningful experience that I wanted to contribute more! This year as external fundraiser I'm working with Nicole to raise money from various sources from applying to lots of grants to sending letters to people around Oxford to shaking buckets out on Broad street. This charity is so important and has such a unique impact on the children's lives and I can't wait to work with this committee to bring the holiday to life again!

  • Internal Fundraiser - Nihal Bedi

Hi! My name is Nihal, a second year Earth scientist and one of the internal fundraisers for Exvac! At the start of first year, my friend in the year above couldn’t stop raving about Exvac and told me to join. It didn’t take any persuading, and I am so glad he did as it was the highlight of year one. The smile that we put on the children’s faces and the laughs that they exchanged with us were priceless. It is truly a great cause. I am especially looking forward to working this role alongside Tobi. We make a great team and cannot wait to host lots of events together. We promise to give you all lots of fun!

  • External Fundraiser - Nicole Bateman

Hi, I'm Nicole, a second year Law student and one of ExVac's external fundraisers! I'm really looking forward to getting more involved with ExVac this year. Working with Alina, I'll be raising money for the charity by applying for grants and trusts.
